I know this student that's working with a new fertilizer company up in New Jersey, and I was wondering if I could ask you guys what is better for lawns in your opinion--vermicompost or vermicompost tea? I'm not sure what they use right now, but I was curious, because I wanted to know if I could do the same thing on my garden with my compost... Thanks so much, Vernon

From what I have read, the castings from worms are the best for the soil, regardless. To make tea from the castings would dilute the nutrients, but it would be a means of 'injecting' the good bacteria into the soil. Compost tea is an excellent fertilizer. Not sure that this answers the question, but either of these methods are preferable to artificial chemicals.
