Gardenbuddies sometimes complain about missing messages or messages not appearing on this Forum. This is usually due to one of the following reasons:
Message Not Posted When you write your message, whether replying to another person or starting a new discussion. When you press the "Preview/Post Message" button you will be shown a preview of the message BEFORE it is added to the forum. This gives you the chance to check what you've written, make alterations and see what any images will look like. Once you're happy with the message you must press the "Post This Message" button for it to be added to the forum. It's quite common for people to forget to press the second button and the message is then lost.
Email Messages This forum has the facility to send you copies of all the messages posted, either from the whole Forum or from selected topics. If you select this option in your PROFILE these messages are for your information only. You cannot reply to them by email, if you do your messages are lost. To reply to these messages you must visit this forum (just click the link contained in the email)
Messages from other Forum Members When another Forum Member views your profile, they have the ability to send you private messages. These messages are private and confidential and no-one can see them apart from you and the person who sent them (not even me!) These messages will tell you who sent the message AND their email address. Once again DO NOT just click the "Reply' button in your email software as the message will get sent back to the forum software and is 'lost' To reply you must click the email address contained in that message.
