There are three possible reasons for this. The first reason could be that you have an old bookmark in your favorites. All your favorite bookmarks should always start with http://www.gardenbuddies.com/forum and not the numerical IP address. If this is you, simply delete those old bookmarks and then create new ones. The second reason could be that you do not have cookies enabled on your browser. Or if you do that your privacy setting are to high. To check this go to your browser's preference or options setting and check off enable all cookies. Third and last reason for being asked to log in each time is it is possible to have multiple passwords stored on your browser. With multiple passwords your browser will ask you each time which password you want to use. This will appear to you that you are just being asked to enter your password. To repair this problem, go to your password manager in your browser and delete one or more of your Gardenbuddies passwords leaving you with only one. Then if ever asked if you want to save this password, check off, "never for this site."

When spyware is installed by you on your computer, the following functionality may not work correctly. Username and password may not be remembered in cookies, forcing re-entry of this data upon every post, it may show the gardenbuddy as not logged in. If there are private reading topics, the gardenbuddy may be forced to log in upon each click, and consequently in-line images may not show correctly (since a login is required, but the browser expects and image and hence displays a broken link when presented with HTML data). The JavaScript "new" icons may not work correctly either, as they may always show up, never show up, or show up inaccurately. The gardenbuddy could still read and post. I encourage any gardenbuddy to add this site to the software so that cookies are not blocked, assuming your software supports such a "whitelist" of "good" sites, and the gardenbuddy chooses to trust this site.
