This will be my first summer away from my parents HUGE tomato garden, and I just don't think I can go the whole season without home grown tomatoes! I have looked online for a guide to help me out, but haven't had too much luck. If you have a link to info about how big a container, what kind of tomato plants grow in containers the best, when is the best time to get them started, etc, I would be very appreciative! Any info about peppers (the hotter the better) would be great too.

There are Earthboxes made for this but expensive. However there is a cheap way around it: http://josho.com/Earthbox.htm http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/contain/msg0515591624025.html?60 A very good discussion on container veggies.
