I think those are really neat. I've seen some around here at the farmer's market going for big bucks! I have a small piece of driftwood I need to hollow out a bit and I'm going to do a mini version.

Oh I love drift wood, I remember years ago using drift wood in all kinds of crafts. Such as wall hangings, and table watt knots such as candle holders. And I really found it to be so relaxing, hiking along the side of lakes looking for different pieces. Of course running across a snake or two also, its a little bit of a risky hobby. I would love to start going again!!! But I'm not as brave as I use to be, maybe I can get my hubby to go with me. Pam

Oh my goodness. I live on Grand Lake O' The Cherokees and there is driftwood everywhere. Im thinking I should take advantage of some it! I have one burly piece by my pond but thats it. Last summer I was going out by the lake and bringing pieces of it home. I was making fairy houses at the time and incorporating the pieces into my art...
