B_B so many to choose from but I do like my fuchsias and surphinas petunas I am also trying my hand at clematis in a hanging basket starting to come into bud. I love all flowers so its good to play around and try and see what looks good in a basket or container.

I never thought about a clematis before. how would you go about this. they are very rapid growers and one would think they would out grow a basket very quickly. would love to try.

I've never heard of trail impatiens. Is Summer Waterfall the name.

I'm doing much better now, I had my hand surgery Dec 26th and now it is all healed up pretty much and I can do many things without pain.
Also, we (my family and my brother and his family) are making great progress in getting organized or situated with the shocking news that my brother has Leukemia, the most aggressive type.

He now gets to leave the hospital and go to Park City, UT to live in a dear old friend and employer's resort house. She worked for this man who is a dentist for 20 years and when he heard of her plight of no housing that would be safe for my brother after stem cell engraftment, he emailed my sis in law and told her he had a house for her to stay in, rent free, in Park City. Just the most beautiful place to go in Utah.

This area was used for the 2002 winter olympics and Robert Redford (actor) has the Sundance Film Festival's there. He also owns the Sundance Ski resort near Provo, UTAH.

So today they get a lot of info from the Dr's and there will be a health nurse to check up on my brother in Park City, I forget how many days a week. My sis in law cannot leave my brother for more than an hour.

Anyway, all of the stress of that is settling down.
And then I had time to think of my son David, April 8th was his Angel Date. I was numb for that week and now I get weepy as the dust settles. So it is a difficult thing, but time does help and helping others keeps me busy and David would want me to do that.

I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't involved in all the little miracles that have been happening with my brother's illness and that we have been able to financially take care of his family until they have found other means.

Now to catch up on house cleaning and working in my garden, the garden is the best therapy.

PS-I have been watching a lot of PBS tv movies about English women and men, the early English stories about England's history and the wars and the romantic stories. Really learning a lot and I enjoy all the countryside that the movies show.

I just recently watched Rudyard(sp?) Kipling movie called My Son Jack. The actor who played Jack is the one from Harry Potter which I have not watched all of the series. I have to be in the right frame of mind.

But I thought he played 'Jack Kipling' superbly. Not my usual vocabulary but it was the best word to fit his performance.
I definitely could feel for the Dad and Mom.
And it does teach some very good lessons to live by. One way or another.

Well, I guess I'm getting long winded, but when will I be able to comment on this again.
I will just have to transfer it to a different thread.
Thank you for asking.
