A friend of ours has new guinea impatiens whose leaves are starting to appear wilted and are taking on a gray color. The leaves aren't shiny anymore, and there don't appear to be any bugs (we looked), but there are tiny tiny little webs in between the leaves of the plant. These plants are outdoors in pots. Any suggestions on what could be wrong or what she can do about it? Thanks!

Sounds like it could be spider mites. They can be too small to see but the webs are a give away. I would throw the plant and soil in the garbage and wash the pot well, (especially since this is an annual) and get a new one. Otherwise, you could go to the store and get neem oil or a horticultural soap and treat according to the label. Still throw out the soil and wash the pot. Additionally you could change the location of the plant. I find them very difficult to eliminate entirely. They seem to always make a come back eventually.
