Okay, So about a month ago my dad gave me this plant. It sat in my living room for a little bit and I noticed my cat eating its leaves one day, so I took it in the other room and put it high up. Anyway, Its a carnation of india, and I have changed the soil now twice. It has these pesky little bugs. Each time I've taken it out and put new soil in it the bugs have gone down greatly in numbers.

I cannot take a picture of them because their extremely small. But I can tell you that on the soil right close to the plant it has very tiny little cystal like things.

What is this??
