Yep there all blooming at this moment thanks for the compliment :D It just makes me happy to see them bloom, because most of them were given to me when no one else wanted them. My family gave me them when they stopped blooming. But every time some one gave me one there conditions where terrible So these pictures give me a warm heart :D Greets Maarten

Yep me too It's very nice to see a flower family with so many different forms and colors, ant not only the flower but the whole plant I hope that I can hold them and make them bloom again next year. Some plants didn't flower this year so I still got some surprise flowers te come, they just came this year. When they stopped flowering, so than my family members bring to me And so I'l starting my collection. Right now I've got about 30 orchids, and there are about 20 different flowers I'm trying to find all the names but that's very hard Greets Maarten

The first and second pictures in your second post (white flower and pink flower) look like Dendrobiums to me. Especially if those two are the plants on the left on the table by themselves in your last picture.

I’ll try to post some names in the same order as I posted the pictures 1 Phalaenopsis 2 Phalaenopsis ‘Culiacan’ 3 Phalaenopsis ‘Romantic Tango’ 4 Oncidium (?) 5 Luditia Discolor 6 Dendrobium 7 Dendrobium 8 Cambria 9 Cambria Sorry I don’t know the other names of them all. If some one has a suggestion you may always tell me. I’m trying to make a note with all my orchids named by family type and second names, but it’s really hard to find the second names In my last post I posted a list of what I’ve got. So I started the year with about 30 orchids, and I made myself a promise to get at least 5O orchids at the end of the year :p I know it maybe a bit much, but I just love them and I’m sure I can’t live without them…. Ahhh, Maarten, you have gotten bit by the orchid bug, I know...I've recovered somewhat from it myself. About 8 years ago, I started buying orchids after having a pink no-name Phal. for a couple years. I had over a thousand orchids at one time all grown under shop lights and in front of every window. I bought flasks and raised the tiny plants to adulthood. Everything was fine (the president of the local orchid club came to my house, looked around, and said "You've got it bad"), until a fuzzy type of scale swept through my collection and wiped out just about all of my precious plants! I was devestated to say the least! I was ableto save only a few plants that were in a separate room and untouched by the scale (I still have them). I told myself that I would diversify and not go overboard on one type of plant again, and so far have kept that promise. I now have a sunroom/greenhouse and 69 orchids along with a lot of other kinds of plants from cacti and succulents, to vines, citrus fruits, tropical flowers, and odd or unusual plants. Your plants look great, and to keep them that way, ALWAYS isolate any new plant that you get to make sure it is not bringing in any pests to infect your plants. Kathy

So you mean that one of your new orchids had a bug?? and it spread out to your other plants? Every time a new orchids comes to me it stands in an other room so I can see what kind of orchid I got, and how it reacts on my care... It's really hard to remove an orchid, so I can image (just a little) how you must have felt when you had to remove so many!!! And you couldn't do any thing against it? That's why no one touches an orchid, when it happens there's always something that goes wrong. Last weak my mother moved one of my orchids and dropped it, so the whole flower stem was broken.... Now I'm really sure isn't going to touch one again. I've also got 4 young orchids, and I really proud there growing :D And thanks for the name information! I'm going to look up some information, so I can add it to my 'Orchid Note' Greetz Maarten

Your "Lady Slipper" orchid is Paphiopedilum, and I see it has mottled foliage, which means it prefers moist, warm, conditions, if the leaves were all green, it would then prefer to be moist, and cool. And I think your number 8 and 9 orchid pictures are X Vuylstekeara Cambria, and not Colmanara wildcats like I at first thought. You are doing a great job of growing your orchids, keep up the good work and keep posting your progress.

Thanks for the information :D I'm going to keep you all up to date, right now there is not so much difference :p There still blooming and every vister who comes, just goes to them and they all keep asking; "what's your secret?". And I always say the same, there isn't one :p. Just love them and tale care of them. The White and the Pink Dendrobiums are becoming an eye catcher. I'm just so happy that they all do so wel...
