In 2004, I was fortunate enough to be in Saint Louis while the Missouri Botanical Garden held it's annual Orchid Show. I took about 500 photos.

Earlier this year, I sent a few photos to the botanical garden, thinking they might find them useful on their website. This first contact turned into a lot of emails.... and a few CD's............
and I became one of the garden's "volunteer" photographers.

The link to the page with Orchid photos is at the bottom of this post. All of those with captions followed by (js) are mine.
Each of the photos on this page are thumbnails. Double click on any of them to see a larger photo.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
But be aware: there are a LOT of pictures on this page. If you do not have a high speed connection, the download time will seem to last forever.

No wonder you fell in love with Orchids, they are beautiful. Cymbidium Valley Blush 'Magnificent'is very nice looking and so are all the lady slipper orchids.
