Orchid seed available

Author Message   Eltel  My Garden Journal My Time Posted on Saturday, January 13, 2007 - 01:40 pm EST :    I am not a collector of orchids (though I have a few in my greenhouse) and have no success at growing them from seed. A few years ago a kind lady sent me a load of seed, plus all the necessary instructions and medium for growing them in. I've had several attempts but TOTAL FAILURE to date. So, I have 2 questions: (#1) is orchid seed viable for any length of time, and (#2) does anyone want to take a chance on the seeds I have. I am happy to send them free of charge rather than throw them away (if they are any good).
