these all grow in the ground from small tubers and are dormant in summer

Ingrid those are beautiful.

I had some very nice dactylorhiza similar to yours but we have a terrible funus disease which kills them in the garden.It turns the stems black and they rot off. A friend gave me a maderensis and this introduced it into my garden and wiped them out.They are now coming back from seeds left in the ground

Some of my orchid friend say: water with a solution of Atamon, it's what you put in your jam, not to mould. It will cure it. Also you can take it out of the ground, wash it and dip it in a concentrated Atamon and place in the ground again.
