Do you have any photos of the whole plant? I bought a couple of unnamed orchids at a sale for just a few dollars each. The plants are growing really well, but I don't know what they are. I think the leaves on mine might look like yours..... The white with the yellow throat is gorgeous! Are these a large flowering orchid?

M-hmm, that's what I've got, then. Hasn't bloomed yet but is really healthy and growing. Right now it is sending up a thing that looks like it should be a spike, but they flower from the centre of the leaf growth, right? This thing that's growing is beside the plant, growing out of the medium. Maybe it is another leaf stem. Thanks for the photo...
