I have been reading a lot in the clematis archives, and sadly a lot of the photos are missing. There is just a little square that shows: here should be a photo. Why is that. It's not so fun reading all the comments, when you can't see the photos they are all talking about. Almost half of them do not show.

Ingrid, I know what you mean and will try to explain. Many of the photos you refer to were linked to that thread from another spot on the web ie. photo web album or photo host site. If the poster later deletes that photo from his\her host site, it breaks the link leaving the dreaded red X. I am guilty of this many times over in that when I take better photos of something, I delete the older ones thus old threads have old photos that are no longer there.

It might also have something to do with switching the GB photo albums over to the new system? Also if you look at the post from Feb 10th, the albums crashed and EJ had to disable them because he is away. Not sure if that has been resolved.
