Whatever works, Ej, and keeps us up and running... I will start to add back the older software to replace the troubled newer software one at a time. I don't know if the older software will read your new style albums. I will have to test this. Simple is better for an old fart like me. Ej, are the old domains like Diane and I have causing you extra work or cost? I haven't found another host. I hate thinking I may be costing you time or money. Just saw this thread so I went to click on my album and got this message. Forbidden You don't have permission to access /main.php on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.0.50 (Fedora) Server at www.albums.gardenbuddies.com Port 80 Does this message appear because my album has been disabled or is there some other reason? I am guessing that I have the old style album. It would be nice to use it again in whatever format that is available. Many of us changed over to the new format so ours don't work (yet). So it may be trial and error finding those with the old format. Hopefully Ej will be able to work his magic and convert the others back to the old format. I tested Zack's album since he no longer requires it and found the old style gallery software won't read the new style album format so this is what we can do. I'll first start with Stan since he is willing to be our tester. Stan I have created a new album for you at: http://bearrose1954.albums.gardenbuddies.com/gallery/albums.php Your login in name is "admin" in small letters. I will email you your password. Once logged in, click on the "new album" link. Now click on the "add photos" link. A pop up window will appear then scroll down to where you see "Or, upload any images found at this location.The location can either be a URL or a directory on the server." Enter the following in the box exactly as it is typed here: /home/virtual/site5/fst/home/bearrose1954/public_html/photos/MomsRosesof200 7 This should upload all your photos you had in your "Moms Roses of 2007" album before. Once they are uploaded you only need to edit the album and title descriptions. You will need to do this for each album you had. Below are the rest of the paths to your album. Only do one at a time and create a new album FIRST before entering a new path in the box or you will upload the photos into the same album. /home/virtual/site5/fst/home/bearrose1954/public_html/photos/platinumrosesA /home/virtual/site5/fst/home/bearrose1954/public_html/photos/roses of 2008HtoO /home/virtual/site5/fst/home/bearrose1954/public_html/photos/Rosesof2008Ato G /home/virtual/site5/fst/home/bearrose1954/public_html/photos/scenesNsuch /home/virtual/site5/fst/home/bearrose1954/public_html/photos/stansbestof200 6 /home/virtual/site5/fst/home/bearrose1954/public_html/photos/stansbestof200 7 I noticed you have a few albums nestled inside of other albums. You will need to recreate these albums and move those few photos into them. I tested all this on your album "my roses 2008-PtoZ" which you can see when you view your album. I am going to try another link now. The others worked like a charm. Sometimes when renaming the album, it would kick me out. But I just clicked on the Back arrow and the renaming had taken, it just kicked me out for some reason. I did not have to log back in, just used the back arrow. I use Internet Explorer too by the way. Some of the links had a space such as 200 6 instead of 2006 and that would not allow the upload. I just repasted the link and removed the space, it worked great. The only one not to work so far is the one I noted above. Not sure what part of that one is not right???
