I don't see the Membership page and know that 1st day of spring is supposed to be supporting gardenbuddies renewal date for members.

I have my albums back so I do want to make sure I donate on time and don't loose them.

Any idea as to the cost of membership with albums and what happened to the "membership" page?

I'm having a quarrel with PayPal about the spelling of my mother's maiden name, so I mailed a check about a week ago. Much slower.

It occurs to me that, without the contributions page available, there's no place to find the address if you want to mail a check. I had it handy from the last time, but others might not.

I got my red "shooting star" right under my avatar for the first time and am proud of it.
In my previous garden site I always paid through PayPal and never had any problem. It just takes 6-8 business days for the transfer from the bank PayPal to certify the transaction.
Thanks so much for all your help your extended to me, Valia. It makes a newcomer feel welcome.

Did I miss in the earlier post how much to donate to keep your albums? I know you can make a donation with the button (and I have), but I thought that there was discussion that in order to keep albums you would have to pay for them?

I made my donations, just before my albums went down. EJ has not been able to put my albums back up. So, I have had to reestablish my photo files on Flickr. That's what I have been doing for the past 4 days.

I am very disappointed that I have no albums on Gardenbuddies anymore.

Am I understanding correctly? We no longer renew our membership through the membership page, but through the Donate box in the same way we would make a random donation. Yes?

And is the official renewal date the 21st March? Sorry if I am not up to date with what's been going on, but I have been away a lot in recent months.

Is there someone in charge officially who knows the options of paying other than through pay-pal? I had a GB ask me today what the address was for mailing in pmt. I can't find the address any more but then, maybe it isn't applicable and paypal is the only option. This should be made clear and the question of if it's a specific amount to be able to maintain a GB album. If it was in the archives, maybe it's time to bring it to the forefront since donation time is nearly upon us.

I found the "Contribution" tab and renewed with Paypal. It did take a bit of looking. Try entering Gardenbuddies.com without skipping the login. If you're like me, I have a link to the topics page and I don't see the tab. But when I type in gardenbuddies.com from my browser, I do get the tab.

It seems to be the same. $1.25 per 2 mb per year.

That page also lists the payment options available.

One of the very first topics on the Topics list is the FAQ's, right above this topic.

If you go FAQ's, it still has a full set of buttons, including Contributions. That link still works, and contains the information about albums as well as the address for mailing checks.

When we had all the problems with GB's, and Ej disabled some of the features, that button disappeared from some topics.

It's my understanding that the page about the albums was going to be revised, but only to make the explanation about album size clearer.
