Thanks Ej, for going "above and beyond" again.

I've always seen gardenbuddies as a cross between photobucket and MySpace (but friendlier). It looks like I was carried away with enthusiasm.

I have copies of all these albums on a CD and on my hard drive, so you can delete the other mess of nested albums right away.

I'll take my time replacing the albums. Looks like I'm due for a refresher course on FTP!

I love my password. I see myself as guarding the gates of Halloween :)

Hi EJ. Not sure if you are confusing me with another member - I definitely am not mad at you. Mistakes happen - especially with computers. Anyhow, if my album is lost for good, I will have a look at a third party place to do an album and then I will revise my profile on here to link to that site (I assume I can do that?)

I'm not sure if I have an album here or not, but if I do, please just delete it with its contents, Ej. I have all my pictures somewhere on my hard-drives and albums at two other places. So no need to weigh down GBs.

Both my desktop and laptop have crashed. They are now with the Geek Squad at Best Buy.

Hopefully, they will be able to find out what nasty thing has been hiding in and eating up my computer. I must assume that the problem with my albums is directly related to this 'thing'.

I don't know, if EJ will ever be able to safely open my photo albums again. If I must start from scratch, I will; but I will need help from EJ to get started up again.

Right now, I am using my hubbie's laptop. He is feeling sorry for me, because he knows how much I depend on my own computers.

EJ please delete my albums also. It looks like albums are way too much trouble for you to have to keep dealing with them. I only use the albums to share photos, I have my photos on my hard drive and also backed up to CD's.

Sue, so sorry to hear about your computer problems. I hope you will rebuild and carry on. Ej disabled the albums and we still had to be rebooted once. And not all albums create problems for the site. We will have to wait for Ej to figure this out.

EJ...

My 'putors are both back. My desktop was purged completely; and it is now back up and running. My laptop has one component that is apparently 'showing its age'. However, the geeks say that it is fine for now.

No viruses or trojans or any other bad critter showed up. So now, I hope that I can safely open albums...maybe even my old albums. I don't know.

Can you please tell me, if I will be able to have photo albums here on GB?

Hi EJ!

I have gotten a few of my folders moved over, but I am having a bit of trouble with the large ones..especially those with nested folders. I get it to this point and then it never goes any further

Could you test one of them for me when you get time to see if you can get one of the larger ones to transfer over and if you can, maybe we can troubleshoot why I am having difficulty.

Thank EJ...but...

I seem to have lost the option to add photos. I still haven't managed to download all of the links, and a lot of my rose and garden photos are still missing from the files that I did get installed.

I did find the spaces in the links that you mentioned and was able to correct some of them, which is how I got my minis to download. However, my option to download more links disappeared, before I could finish all of the links that you gave me. I especially wanted the garden shots.

Like Suzyqt1968, I could't seem to open the links that had albums within albums.

..and...how do I link my new albums to my GB signature box?

Boy! I am putting a lot on you. Did I have the biggest photo collection? Is that what my albums crash the site?

I finally found the 'Add Photos' buttons again...however...

This one would not open.

This one only opened about 6 photos. I know that a whole bunch of the photos from that part of my albums is missing.

None of these open at all.

Truthfully, most of the files that opened were incomplete. I don't want you to spend days or even hours reestablishing my files. If you have a quick answer for downloading the files that I listed in this post...fine. If not, just let me know...so that I can go ahead and start loading photos on my own.

I plan to start downloading some shots anyway.
