I have seen SOMEWHERE EJ addressing the question but I can not find it. I love to be able to click on " NEW Messages" and see in one place all the new posts. Reading them I would love from time to time respond to some but then by dong so I am loosing my other new messages from the original page. Can someone guide me through the settings how can I have both worlds: the original page with all new messages and be able to post? If I post the original page disappears. Hopefully it does not sound too complicated! Anybody, please. I am on Mac right now but couldn't do it on Windows either. I do not want to impose on EJ. He is too busy as it is. Thanks in advance.

You could try opening messages you want to read and respond to in a new browser window or a new tab (try cmd-click on the link, cmd=apple key). That way after you post a message or read the message, you can close that window and see the original new messages page.

An easier way would be to edit your profile and select the option to open links in a new window. This way you can retain the new message page.

Mimi, open your PROFILE. Under PREFERENCES check "When searching, open resulting pages in a new window". Click "Apply". Next time when you open "New Messages" and click on a link, it will open in a new window. Done. Or you can do it Greg's way. Also great tip. Hope it helps.
