New web site question

Author Message   Andy_p  My Favorite Photo Posted on Monday, March 19, 2007 - 07:20 pm EST :    Last weekend I launched my own web site. It's a single theme site for posting Daily Pics. There is a Gallery, Forum, Personal Blogs and other fun features. My question is ~ Would it be OK to post the Addy somewhere on GardenBuddies? There are some excellent photographers here that I would like to invite but I don't want to appear rude by soliciting. I know John Lonsdale (he contributes to the cyclamen forum and hellebore forum from time to time) has done this but not sure how it is done. I think everyone would love to view your web site, your photos are always interesting. I posted my PhotoBlog as the link to 'My Garden' because that's where my garden pics are BUT it's also where I have links to other sites of interest and the top link is my DailyPics site link. You've been around. I just don't like the people who join up just to advertise their own website. It's a full fledged web site with a narrow focus of posting a Daily Picture and discussions. It's open to all who wish to participate by posting a pic and/or discus them. It's also a great learning experience for me, like my PhotoBlog was. The PhotoBlog was more 'one way', the site is all inclusive ~ better. Monique, my Faux Finisher are on my commercial site.
