I notice a few people will ask a question and get an answer but they do not acknowledge the answer. So my point is did they get the answer and forgot to reply or didn't think it necessary? Bill

I generally check all messages with new yellow flags but I confess sometimes I do ask a question and then forget where or even that I did.

It's probably a combination of factors. In general I notice that the 'regulars' will respond while the newest members might not always do so. However, sometimes it's a time issue. You want to quickly check out all the new posts and get to your other tasks. Replying takes more time.

It does discourage when you answer and 3 months later there is still no reply. Bill

Just part of a forum. There are also questions asked that never get an answer. So it just kind of goes both ways. That is one reason I visit about 4 different gardening forums a day. Sometimes you do lose track!!

I apologize if I haven't replied but it has taken me ages to work out how to use this forum. It is so enormous and I regularly forget what I have posted on.
