Well, I'm late on a lot of things so that shouldn't surprise me.....or anyone.

Could someone please bring me up to speed on what this post is all about?

Thanks.......!

John, when you preview your post, if there's a so-called misspelled word, it will appear yellow. Often it is not incorrect spelling but one the system does not recognize. So, the list here is to add these words to the system as 'okay.'

Thank you Tanya !

For a moment I thought you folks were indulging in some kind of horticultural text messaging......
and I'm too old to pick up another language.

LOL It's actually a secret language, John, meant only for eccentric gardeners! Are you one of us? To learn it, all you have to do is stick your hands in the dirt and think: GREEN, GREEN, GREEN!

Rules of the Game!

When you have words to add, you copy the whole list that already exists and then add yours to the top or the bottom of the list. When you "preview" it, they should ALL be yellow. That's how you know for sure they're all not in the system yet. It takes EVERYBODY a while to figure this out when they start playing the game! Doing it this way saves EJ having to go through all the posts to look for all the words--they're already in just one list.

Good luck winning,
Skybird

P.S. How do we figure out who the WINNER is? Maybe it's whoever posts last before the words are entered into the data base!

Good Lord.....
I thought I was getting carried away....

but.....

presuppositionlessness ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I learned it is a word....
but I'd love to hear it used in a sentence...

Yep! You got it! Boy, that's quite a list you added. Now it's REALLY getting long! I just noticed there are a couple words duplicated, so I'm going to repost the list and take out the duplicated ones.

And I checked back, and "Charles" added presuppositionlessness on October 24, so I guess he's the one that will have to use it in a sentence!

But though philosophy denies the dark presuppostion of all life, though it refuses to consider death as something but makes it into nothing, it evokes for its own sake the semblance of presuppositionlessness. Thus, now, all knowledge of the All has for its presupposition--nothing."

And, EJ, That's TOO deep for me! I'll stick to gardening!

Well, right back at yuh, EJ !!!

"In contrast, Wiggins and Schwartz suggest to see, as Jaspers did, and not to think, following Husserl by grounding their psychopathology on intuition and presuppositionlessness."
