DANG YOU BOTH! i am in too... jayne he said you said we would be calling, SO FUNNY! i added gerbera daisy 14" platter 50% off and tuscany oval 18" 30% off... i can't even afford the real tuscany trip and i am adding this? i am sick...

kathleen, call quick and get the 18" hydrangea oval... YOU NEED IT, and much better prices then i am used too. i set one aside then went with tuscany instead, more ca feel for me~ is there still a debtors prison? you will LOVE it, go big and call it your bday pres!

cynthia have you seen the new large sq trays? oy, i need one... i want carols bistro tray... some other decade for me~

You're welcome...glad you were able to order some PK, Jayne and Jain.

I just got off the phone with Blochers and ordered the Gerber Daisy 16" deep bowl with stand.

I've been very inconsistent with answering my email... sure glad I opened my mail from them today.

Jain, the large trays are fabulous, I gave my daughter one for Christmas to go on their coffee table. It is METRO EARTH in their Fuzion line.

Jain, Carol's bistro pattern is lovely...blue and yellow together are very striking... save your change (pennies, nickels, gold pieces) -- Did you ask Blochers if they could order it for you and still give you the 30% off ? Wouldn't hurt to ask....

Oh, you guys... I almost bought a Gerbera Daisy too, but just wasn't sure since I am a PK virgin.

So funny, right after I got off the phone, DH came in the room and said, "I just spent $100.00 on iTunes." I said, "OK, I just ordered something too." Then I thought... I should have bought more, I only spent $52.00! LOL

oh it would hurt to ask, MY WALLET! i have never even seen that shape, its wonderful! looks huge too, something you could really gets lots of use from... i was not going to buy a thing, you have sparked my pk taste buds and i need to reign it in again! just look at the euro verses the dollar and see why i am in so much trouble for my vacation... I haven't "dished" in a while. Not for lack of desire...but I must restrain myself lol. I can only tolerate one bout of "where are you going to put those" a month. I really had wanted to go to TJM, Ross etc on Friday but it just didn't work out. So I stopped at my favorite Goodwill which is on the way home. I came away with a few goodies. Please excuse the pics..it's been dark of late. Not much natural light even during the day.

A few blues. Kathleen, the pattern on this one is different than the others I have..and a bigger plate. But this one does say England on the back. The little ones are Mikasa and the blue one with flowers is an Italian plate.


These I was most excited about. The little plates with flowers are newer, although they have an "old" look. I thought they were cute. The other two are more vintage though. Both are what they call restaurant ware..I had to do some reading. Actually used in a restaurant/diner somewhere probably. The platter is vintage 50s I believe and the other is older, probably between 1929 and 1940 based on what I can tell from the mark. The beginnings of a VERY small red restaurant ware collection!!



The mark on the older one... I couldn't find the exact pattern..with the date, but did find a similar mark on a green pattern with a date range. Maybe someone is a better investigator than me. I love stuff like this because I try to imagine who might have eaten on it and where.



And finally a little funny coinkydink. First the olive bowls, I thought were pretty. Probably from Pier one or someplace similar. The funny part...the dragonflies underneath. Marie...it is the larger one like you have!!!! Different shade, and much larger than the ones I got for you.



The difference is hard to see in a photo. Here they are together. I couldn't believe it when I saw it and certainly could not leave it in the store.

Wow, Suzy, you did very, very well! I never find anything in our Goodwills...they're not so nice, unlike yours.

Suzy, I love those plates..The red in the right corner of the restaurant..it's calling me!

Jayne, I called, but the one I wanted was going to be almost 70 with the shipping, so I chickened out. It is a big gift month here, the Christening, Lily's bday, and Easter gifts..I felt uncomfortable spending more, so another time! Mother's Day is coming!

suzy what a great haul! i can't imagine what on earth our store would have, but i drive by every time i am in town and should just take the plunge... my fav is your b&w fruit plate. if you buy enough, even of singles, every thing will mix and match for fabulous tables!

While looking for chocolate hens at Macy's, I spotted these soup bowls that match our saffron pinzons. Made in Italy. They also match my Spode salad plates. The best part is that the bowls are on sale for around $3.00.
