Does anyone have this blender? I saw it at a home show years ago and wanted it. They have recently redesigned the container and improved the motor - but there are good internet reviews on both. Thought I might check with the "Foodies" here to see if anyone uses one.

I don't have one, but they look amazing! I think they generally have great reviews and whoever has one loves it. I use the food processor more at home. but at camp where I work summers, I would love a Vitamix to tear through smoothies and ice cubes. They wouldn't go for the price :)

They are the standard for food service establishments. They make the ultimate margaritas. I have one on the boat, one at home and two more in the garage that need to be gone through. Perks of work :)

Margaritaville - here I come! I bought the new 5200 and I am so looking forward to it arriving. Would love to have your margarita recipe EJ. They should be fun to have this summer on the new patio. I had seen the machine demonstrated over 20 years ago in Vancouver and was impressed at the time. Then our local restaraunt/home kitchen place had one and I was thinking about it again but wanted to do the research. Hopefully I can get some more fruits, vegetables and fibre in our diets - and reap some of the health benefits the Vitamix claims. We all love soup and ready in 5 minutes impresses me on those nights we are all in a hurry.

See them on E-Bay. I don't know about them, or the people selling them but there are many. I don't own one either.
