5 days a week i walk this area with my neighbor and her 2 dogs. usually we walk around the lake, but lately her husband has been coming and his walks take us up in the hills. i hate hills... the view is beautiful, but the extra work to haul me up there is only happening because tuscany has hills and i need to be able to walk them...
just thought i would share the morn with you, i walk down the back of my property and go out our lower gate where they pick me up. once at the lake the husband takes up the numerous trails along the hillsides. today the fog was hanging on the hills, the sun was just coming over the ridge and the wind was HOWLING. it was cold, everyone was in parkas, sweatshirts and bundled... me? in shorts and tank top... i was perfectly comfy~
they drop me off at the top of my driveway where florabunda is blooming to perfection, simplicity manages a few flowers here and there despite the deer down the driveway, the peach tree is popping and finally in the garage door where the wisteria dangles and scents the air~










































my house is circled off in the distance










then the real exercise begins, gardening my own hill all day long...

You live in total Paradise!!I have been asking you where you walk..You walk far!!!

No wonder you have all those songs on your IPOD..Do you chat when you walk? This must be great exercise.
I bet you are grateful every day of your life to be surrounded by such beauty!!

Well I'd love the walk but probably couldn't manage the work and major cooking afterwards. Maybe after a few months of practice though...

Just GORGEOUS Jain... You've captured so many beautiful shots (once again.) You're doing GREAT on your "walk"... it's a HIKE!

And to think how many times we just zipped right by your area on the freeway on the way to other places while I was growing up, without stopping to enjoy the beauty.
Shame on us!

thanks everyone for your comments, glad you enjoyed the view with me~

mary this area is where the glider port was, its slated to be a mass of houses, i am just hoping the crummy economy stops them...

my walking is doing nothing to firm up a thing on me... i was just reading about excursions on the cruise, to get to the acropolis i have to walk up 242 stairs, i am so not ready for this trip!
