Monique, your new pan is perfect in any saying ;) How nice they were courteous and shipping was not outrageous. I have ordered from them before - many years ago. Lillian Vernon - which used to be similar - just went out of business. They had been around for ages. Sign of the times :(

Nice pan Nana. I have always wanted one of those!

Linda..I haven't been to Safeway in a couple of weeks. I need to stop in this week and will check out the plates. I have the pink cabbage bowls..wouldn't mind having plates to match. hey make the best salad bowls.

Debbie..Wegmans must be something like our Fred Meyer out here. Does it have clothes too? I think we all need some of those blue glass plates. Or at least I NEED them!! Lots of pretty stuff.

Stopped by Safeway yesterday. So I checked out the cabbage dishes. They had red, green and orange. No wonder the 3rd color didn't leave an impression!!

I bought some new Fiesta-ware pieces when I was in town. I have been wanting the Hunter Green since they released it. So I got a plate and a coffee mug. Then I picked up a yellow coffee mug to bring my mugs up to 8. I have some of the small desert cups and needed another one. I also picked up 2 of the soup cups with handles. Wish they had other colors besides red. Then I got the yellow casserole dish. Just right for asparagus. I have a lot of extra pieces that go with the fiesta-ware. I have all different colors. Pretty colors, Linda. I have some fiesta, cobalt, peacock and shamrock. I love the yellow, I might have to start adding :) The casserole dish is really nice! The dessert cups, too. I have some of the rimmed soup bowls, hadn't seen the soup mugs!

Can't believe it's been since April that anybody posted new dish pics...probably some but elsewhere. Anyways I will stick mine here and revive this older thread. I like poking around the GoodWill in Tacoma which is kind of on my way to work. It is neater and more organized than most. Sometimes I find zilch, just depends on what they've received in. Friday I found a few things I liked. I bought two each of the following plates. The floral one is hard to photograph true to color. It's brown and pale pink..very similar to the plates below. The pattern is probably from the 50s..Nasco, Springtime. Pink one I just thought was a nice color and looks good with the other ones! Cute little "dots" all around.



Just some odds and ends


And my favorite find, another piece of "restaurant ware" or something of the kind. I can find absolutely nothing regarding the mark on the back with says "Cook Vitreous China". The insignia on the plate itself took a bit of research but I am now pretty sure it's a U.S. Corp of Engineers acronym... United States Engineering Division. The castle is their insignia. It is heavy and vintage looking. Not sure I will use it for food, but at 99cents I couldn't leave it in the store. I will figure something out for it.

Glad you got the thread moving again, Suzy! I love this thread!

Great finds you found :) The first two look great together! I love the "odds and ends!" very nice, especially the white, reminds me of a 50's kitchen and the floral ones, very pretty!

The last one looks like vintage restaurant ware to me, too, but what do I know, LOL, but I could see pie in that plate sitting next to one of those heavy vintage diner coffee mugs!
