Jain, I'd gotten behind reading about your trip for a couple of days and have now caught up.....You're definitely not putting us to sleep....I'm overwhelmed by your photos and cannot begin to put into words the feelings generated by your pictures.

I hope you're able to leave these posts on the site for a while....I keep going back and re-reading sections....I love the lemon pottery and the irises...they're so Jain.

I love all the pictures, and I just can't help noticing those lemon trees. and all I have is one little almost yellow lemon :)

Thank you for the trip to Florence, Jain. I especially love the gardens shots! and the food and dishes, of course! :)

LOL Carol, I looked long and hard at those overflowing little potted lemon trees. I want one - I wonder how different the climate is in Florance and Colorado! The lemons on the ceramic pieces were wonderful too, and the grill - unbelievable!

Jain, all of your photos are wonderful. I can't tell you how much I am enjoying sharing your trip. Thank you.

THOROUGHLY enjoying your photos, keep posting! You've bought back some lovely memories for me. Florence is a very special place, lovely architecture, great food... siggggggggggghhhhhhhhh.

We just used some of our air miles and booked a trip to Bermuda in December. Soon those miles will disappear.

I enjoyed catching up on your photos tonight, Jain! No boredom here - not at all.

Interesting what you said about Scott climing the Duomo. My daughter and her husband climbed it on their honeymoon last summer and she was so afraid and overwhelmed by the tight passage on the way to the top she starting crying.

The terraces, flowers, architecture, all so gorgeous!

scott said it was bad too, but he has a fear of heights so that low low railing had him quaking! i knew i could never do it, vertigo and obese, why bother!

thanks everyone for traveling with me, i have deleted all my pics, its iris selling season now and i wanted not to have to worry about space at p/t as i upload iris pics daily. we loved all our travels, the villa was heaven and sienna is another gorgeous city not to be missed. wishing everyone happy travels this year!

Did I miss the villa? lol Don't let us down Jain. We only let you go so you could come back and so us pics! Just a few...come on. I've loved everything you've showed so far. My favs were of the Boboli gardens....a couple I have in my photo album from when I visited there years ago. :-) But a villa...I've never had that experience...comeon....show us!!!! :-)
