Does anyone out there have any experience with 'Minister' it's a beauty and I intend getting it for my garden. I took this photo at 'Rosemoor' in September last year.

Some people say that 'Pastel Princess' is the same cultivar as 'Minister' I have seen them both more than once and always seem to prefer 'Minister'!!!. Below is a photo of 'Pastel Princess' Are they the same, does anyone know?

This isn't my best picture of Minister, but it is the easiest to access as it is on my photobucket pages of last years blooms. This was the second year for a 2 year old plant bought in 06. I got a new computer in January & haven't moved many of my pictures to it yet. At first I made the mistake of putting him too close to Mrs Cholmondeley, and it made them both look too pink. As I hadn't unpotted him yet, it was easier to move him to a different spot. I moved him up to a larger pot & dug that into the ground near Perle D'Azure , Hanna, & Bonanza, but Minister bloomed way before any of them did. In the Fall I dug the pot in closer to some new type 2s, and other than the fact that they are much younger, I am hoping that there will be at least a little synchronization of bloom time so that I can finally get him into the ground after cutting back a bit after blooming. Thanks Marie for that, I am going for 'Minister'now. (That's 'til I get around the Garden Centres and get swayed by something else.) 'Minister' will be going on an East facing wall with dappled shade. Hopefully it will retain its colour more there than somewhere sunnier.
