I wasn't disappointed--she's a beauty and looks very nice with your pink rose! I paired mine with a Daniel Deronda clematis, which is a large-flowered purple. Now I wish I had paired all my clematis when I planted them. It does take well our hot and humid summers. Some pm however. A little warning, it could be the climate of course but Princes Diana gets huge and can swallow (strangle!) the host plant if it is paired with one. What a Beauty. John Davis (Explorer Rose?) looks beautiful as well. I got the John Cabot, it's darker but mine looks smaller then the John Davis? Your Clematis/Rose combo is very attractive.
