Peer and his wife have been here and we had a very nice day. Talking a lof of all kinds of things not only clematis .
For dinner I baked pancakes and on it a mix of champignons, onions, smoked bacon ,ham all cut in pieces and baked taht as a filling over the pancakes then tomato and cheese over it .Sweet pancakes with sugar and sirup after and ice with whipped cream sauce blueberries and strawberries.
We had a very nice day.The weather was also very well
A pity that Ton could not come has vacation and Perkie still has a lot of trouble with her fallen oak.
We had very nice weather all day long

Roelie, what lovely pics. The food looks delicious, too! It's always great when the weather co-operates when company comes by! I'm not sure I'd have recognized Peer w/o his hat. ;)

Roelie, your table looks fit for a king, and reminds me that I haven't had any stuffed, savoury pancakes for way too long.
Looks like Peer is eating his way around Europe:-)

it is so easy to make but we don't eat the pancakes like they are made in America. We have them more thin not so thick as eggcookies
2oo gram flour one or two eggs 400 cc milk some salt .Mix it
Hot some oil in a flat pan and pour some of the mix in the oil let go it through the whole pan so that it cover the bottom . Have a look if the underside is brown and turn it bake the other side .Ready.
If the mix look to thin put some flour to it

Roelie, I make thin crepes rather than thick pancakes, I also like to chop up some herbs and add to the batter at times, for savoury baked pancakes.
I used to make them a lot, as they freeze really well.
Btw, your recipe is very similar to mine.

I'm mostly keeping it on so I'm not make the bald envious.
First time we tried pancakes like Roelies, they was good!
Thanks, Roelie for the pancakes and your hospitality it was great to meet you, thanks.
