Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen! It has been a nice day with a cake and some presents. And I was wishing for weeks now to have...a cloudy day and not to spend so many hours just watering the pots and garden...and got my wish!! First day since can't remember when the scorching sun was behind the clouds!! Thank you for your thoughts and all the beautiful cards!

It it is a little scary to see those numbers adding but guess it is a proof of being alive. ;) We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this spring and on Thursday we fly to Italian and French Alps for a week to have that precious vacation that happens only because of an occasion like that. DH does not have the luxury of long vacations and we really are looking forward to that time together in Europe. I am kind of hoping that the telephones won't work in most of the places we have included in our tour: mountains, lakes, some islands. As for the gardens, Bella Gardens on Lake Maggiore seems to be the most exciting visit. Then if understand correctly some snow on Plateu Rosa and on Valle Blanche? I am still trying to "unscramble" the Itinerary that is only in Japanese. Quite excited and with birthday celebrations it has been a good week. Thanks again for your thoughts!
