Second year flowering, over 100 blooms,on large metal obelisk in mixed herbaceous border where the colour blends perfectly with phlox, lythrum, aconitum and monarda.
I call this 'Margaret Irene'for my wife, who on 27th.July opened her garden for National Gardens Scheme charity, had 434 visitors, and was rushed into hospital for emergency major operation 8 days later.
Many thanks to all her many relatives, friends and neighbours.
Now back home recovering.

How very pretty, Richard. So sorry to hear about your wife's medical problems and I do hope she's on the mend now. 434 visitors...that's quite a showing!

Love the shading on the bloom.
Hoping your wife mends quickly and is soon able to attend to all her 'garden children'.

The shape of this one reminds me of my Minuet seedlings, and it also flowers a loooong time. Wishing your wife a speady recovery.
