I'm guessing this crossed with its neighbor Etoile Violette. The coloring is exactly the pink of Odoriba, by the way, even though the camera didn't capture it correctly.
The flower is small, a first bloom of about 2.5 - 3 cm.
It looks like a number of viticella hybrids out there already, doesn't it? Foliage:
Plant is about 1 m high in its first full year, so I'll let it go another year just to see what happens.

If it's the same colour as my odoriba then it must be really lovely Mike. I love the colour of odoriba. Does it have more buds?

It has another stem that might form a bud this year.

Very nice seedling Mike. It should be quite vigorous if the father is EV.

Very interesting! I have a couple of seedlings from your Odoriba seeds so it's great to see this one.

Lovely plant,Mike. Odoriba is one of my favourites in the garden this year. I have some young plants from your x.Odoriba seeds, but they will not flower until next year.

I should note to anyone lurking here that I'm happy to pass on the many, many Odoriba seeds this plant will produce this year. They seem to germinate much more quickly and easily than its parent species (hybrid vigor?) and I grow many different clematis in its vicinity with which it might cross. Just send me a private message.

It is a very lovely colour, and would very much like some seeds. Send you a mail.
