Pat Particularly like the Scilla morisii. If you have a spare bulb later this year, can you put my name down. Regards

Thanks for bringing your fresh spring breezes our way. The Northern hemisphere is coming back to life as spring creeps across each latitude and elevation.

Pat they are all very nice.On Saturday I discovered at the Turkey day in Birmingham that Scilla armena is now S.sibirica ssp armena. Is melaina a form of armena just with another name? The morisii is very nice.

As far as I am aware Melaina is a seperate species, at least until the splitters get hold of it.

Yes they do. Maybe some small botanical difference or even distribution may be the factor.

That's just what I was thinking Terry, it looks like the finest silk...almost too delicate to be real. It's so pretty isn't it.
Hmm, I had the good fortune to meet up with Tony and his good wife last weekend at the AGM conference in Birmingham. He is just like I imagined...tall, dark and handsome (just what you told me to say Tony..ha,ha,) and still full of good humour in real life.....Hi Tony!

Hi Dee it was great to meet you and to see you looked as lovely as I expected (oh just like you told me to say) What a good day it was and such interesting talks with excellent photographs.I have wandered about Turkey quite a lot and it brought back memories of some exciting plants.

A couple of Muscari. The first one is M chalusicum from Iran. The following 3 were grown from seed as M muscarimi which has green/yellow flowers which it clearly is not. I like it whatever it is and will keep it but if anyone can identify it I would be grateful.
