Bought 100 of these which were listed as "Isauricus Spring Beauty", but are minimus.

I put all 100 into pots, and had them in the basement since mid December. Brought them up the other day. Didn't take long to see a flower.

This is a gorgeous species - should be quite a show with 100 of these planted out.

Galanthophile, they are pretty, my camera isn't able to capture the flower well.

I had no more deer netting left, so that is why I put them into pots. I didn't want to risk the squirrels getting them. Think I paid $12 for the 100. One site has them listed 100 for $80. Come fall, they will be planted outside.

The marking on the back of the flower is stunning. Good buy Guff!

Guff, that is a good buy. I thought I did well when I got half that amount for $12. Mine are in the ground. I know a few were found out and dug up but hopefully not all.
How cold is your basement, Guff?

Basement is 40-45.

I may have a few minimus planted outside in the 1000 mixed that I planted in December, no telling whats going to pop up.

Hopefully I get a few, would like to dab some Picturatus pollen and see if I can get some seed. I have been told that minimus trade form is sterile, doesn't hurt to try.
