The trillium plants are just beginning to look at their best.I am now growing hundreds of seedlings from these plants but with a seven year wait for flowers..............unless anyone knows how to speed up the process?
I was just about to add their names when I thought someone might like the challenge!?

Wow, these are great! You have a nice collection! All my trilliums are still in buds but hopefully they will be opening sometime soon. Is the third one trillium 'rivale', by the way?

I love trilliums and have several myself but yours are way ahead. They look wonderful and it will be worth the wait for all of your seedlings I'm sure!

Beautiful especially that first one. Can't guess at any as I have never grown them. Do you not have problems with slugs munching them?

Just beautiful! I really love the foliage with the deep red flowers on the first and last. No guesses here.

I acquired the plants or seed under the following names. 1. Trillium sessile 2. Trillium ovatum ssp maculosum, grown from Jim Archibald seed. 3. Trillium rivale 'Purple Heart' 4. Trillium rivale growing with Hepatica transsilvanica 'Elison Spence'. 5. Same species as 2., the flower goes pink as it gets older. 6. Trillium chloropetalum, seven years to flowering (as were 2. and 5.)from Jim Archibald seed. Thanks for all your appreciative comments and no Dee I havnt,as yet,had problems with slugs.
