Lousy weather in the garden today with plants knocked about by the wind and rain - these photos were taken yesterday when the sun was still shining. Chionodoxa luciliae.

Why thankyou so much Melvyn. If you could just dig them up now and transport them over here I would be more than happy. All very beautiful and I am very jealous! Did you buy the bulbs or are these from seed? Did you go to Afghanistan to get the Hyacinth bulb/seeds? That is so pretty. Tecophilea Didn't know you could get a bicolour.

Very nice, you are way ahead of me in the north as my chionodoxa are just poking through.

All bought as bulbs, except the Hyacinth which was given to me by a late friend about 25 years ago,his son collected it in Afghanistan well before the current problems. Tecophilea are quite variable with at least four named varieties available.

Such a dainty hyacinth too. Reminds me of Delph blue/white pottery...glad to know you didn't have to risk your life to get it!
