I just got some bulbs of Eranthis stellata from China.
Did anyone grow it and how hardy is it??
I have found a link: http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/Eranthis

A white Eranthis seems like a very desirable plant to me! Considering where it grows, it must be very hardy. Unless it is difficult in some other way, it surprises me it hasn't been introduced to the European market on a larger scale. Will you be growing it outside, in your garden? Please keep us informed how it does.

Hi Hans Jörgen
I got it last year from China and kept it in a pot in the green house. The a little bit dried tubers did not thrive at all but they are still full fit. I am standing by for next spring now. The plant seems to be sensitive.

Hans Jörgen
by now I think the plant needs a cold or even very cold period for thrieving. It's living in areas down to zone 4
