That is just the kind of pelargonium I've been looking for and can't seem to find this year. So beautiful! I'm curious - how long have you had the plant?

Hi Mara, I've had it about 6 years now. Very, very slow growing and difficult to get a cutting to root. Here is a close-up of the flowers
Have you tried Angel Pelargoniums, small flowers and compact plants. Here's a couple of links for you to view. http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~firtre/Angel%20Pelargoniums.htm http://www.firtreespelargoniums.co.uk/

Oh - it's even more beautiful close up. But indeed not very big for its six years. Kath, luckily for me neither of those nurseries ships to Europe - the temptation to order many would be too great. Actually I think there are similar firms in Germany I could order from, but I had hoped to find something at a garden centre. I've found nice ones before, but this year there don't seem to be any.

Difficult to obtain Vandar, and much more success with growing from fresh seed. If you like to wait until next summer I will collect some for you, sorry but have none left from this years production

Well done Astrantia, This particular pelargonium is not the easiest to get cuttings from. I find keeping them on the dry side in the beginning helps to be successful
