When to bring in tender geraniums?

Author Message   Val  Posted on Saturday, September 16, 2006 - 07:46 pm:    I am in zone 5 and it's fall here but it's still very warm (in fact today was downright hot!). Overnight frost will start in another few weeks. When do I bring in my tender geraniums? I have never overwintered them before. In fact, I started them from seed, and this is my first summer growing them, so I have no idea what I am doing Any tips on how and when to store them for the winter would be much appreciated. Thanks!
