I want to try one of those hardy geraniums with black foliage. Does anyone know if they're very vigorous, and which one would be the most vigorous? Does anyone know if they do better or worse than the green leaved varieties in areas with only 3 hours of AM sun? Or would they hardly flower? Thanks,

Deanna

HI Deanna,
I have a black foliage one, actually two. One with small leaves and the other large. The large leaf one is Midnite Reiter or something like that. Does great in semishade, but the leaves do start to turn a bit green. I have mine planted next to Anne Folkard.

The other cranesbill is called Porter's Pass. A very small hardy geranium and not so vigorous.
