Mariae thats a beautiful setting. What is the orange flower in the first picture at bottom? When you say cottage do you mean your home because here in Canada a cottage is a summer home usually by a lake,a place to go on weekends and vacation.

I love those stone steps. Their color, texture, and shape make them a perfect backdrop for those stunning geraniums. Did you put the step in?

Bill, you are all right, our cottage is just for weekends and vacation on top of a valley but is not so far from our flat, just 40 km far away in the country.

The orange flower is called gazania. I planted first step in pink, second one in red and third one in orange. Fourth one is blue (agapanto).

Lovinlife, the spot was built by us -my husband and me- carring the stones and putting them on the adecuate place. Be sure, really stones are very, but very heavy and very hard work, but we did some years ago (12-15)
