When you talk specific genera of plants, you tend to short cut, never dreaming that folks have no IDEA you are talking about Notocactus ubelmannia and Euphorbia milii, 'Crown of Thorns' (has the red flowers, in front, and in back and the yellow/green flowers). There is a small aloe heavily armored, just to the right of the cactus. Cena - S CA, Zone "10a"
