Hi Experts!

This cactus (?) bloomed for a friend of mine; wondering what kind of cactus (if it is a cactus) it is. Any ideas?

Carol, I'm no cactus expert, but I'd wager it's an Echinopsis, also commonly called "Easter Lily Cactus". There's over 120 species and many hybrids, so I won't guess as to the species. Someone in the succulent forum might know.

That's a singularly beautiful flower!

Thank you David, I did a google on the Easter Lily Cactus and sent what I found to my friend and she says it fits the description to a T! Mystery solved thanks to your help!
