This is my Root over Rock style forscithia bonsai. it nees some work still and is only one year old so it is really only in the beginning of its life in a pot. here are some photos of it. by the way the seasons are starting to change and its getting colder here and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if i have to bring this particular plant inside or if it can be left outside or whether or not it needs any sort of special protection for the winter. so any suggestions or info would be most appreciated.

Nice roots but the tree is a little thin, could have done with some growing out time to thicken up. It wont get thicker while in a pot, but you could plant the whole lot in the ground next spring for a couple of years, just let it grow! In the meantime youre better off giving it some proteection from frost as the roots, being exposed, make it tender.
