I was wondering if anyone knew wether it would do better outside over the winter or if i should bring it inside and protect it from the cold. The reason i ask is because of the exposed roots. I would like to know if it would need a little protection outside if i left it outside as well. suggestions would be much appreciated. I too have a Forsythia in training. They are supposedly hardy but I would give some protection, better safe than sorry. Mine keeps making babies, well, at least one or two and it is one tough plant. They are planted all over here. And we can get down to 0*F.
