I've been digging up lots of beetroot today. 18 varieties! .... I know ..... don't tell.

But do have a look anyway: My 18 Beetroot Varieties

I have to start thinking about some recipes now....

Wowee, I just looked again, and this time the link worked. What an absolutely beautiful and colorful display of beets!

Do you cook the green parts as well? I love them just sauteed with a bit of olive oil.

Wow is right! First time I've seen the long narrow beets. Whites are my favorite, then gold. They're both so sweet.

Until now, mostly Detroit and Cylindra, but this is the first time, I've grown so many different at the same time, so now we can start to compare and find out which ones are best for different uses.
