I took this with my camera in black and white mode and a red filter to darken the sky. This left it underexposed a bit so i had to adjust it in Photoshop, but I like the way it turned out! Without the red filter the sky would be much paler.

Treelover, I like it! It paints a rather somber picture, but the strength and dignity of the oak really comes out. We recently experienced a beautiful Hoar's frost (do you get this in z8/9?), and thought I'd share a few pics.

Larry, great photo. Looks like something in a spooky film....but it does look good. Robert, love your trees too. I especially like the last photo. Hoar frosts are amazing...we do have them here, seen it on low growing plants, but never on trees...gorgeous.
