Last year borers infested 2 peach trees and killed a Santa Rosa plum and a nectarine. This year, one of the peach trees looks reasonably healthy and is not infested, but one-half of the one pictured here has died, and prospects don't look good. Does anyone know what this insect is and how do I combat it?
