Only grass I have in the garden is pampas the birds love to use it as swing can get a lot of pleasure watching them.

Hi Scotkat I love to see pampas grass if you have the room to plant one. We recently bought a pink one to plant on our allotment. I cant wait to see our birds swinging on it too! :)

Pruned Pampus grass right down to the base yesterday so birds for now have lost their swing. Every Spring we have to give it a good prune looks bare for now but new growth will soon grow. Annette not forgetting about the Iris shall post to you when they stop blooming .

Pampas Grass is very common in Suffolk UK. It seems like almost everyone has at least one in their garden! We put a birdfeeder next to one of ours this year and have had great fun watching the birds 'queue' on the grass to wait their turn to feed.
