I started the zebra grass last year in an area that I wanted to improve. We have a drainage ditch right in front of our property along the street. We seemed to specialize in large weeds till last year. The area is red, hard Georgia clay like they make the bricks out of.
I put in several different types of grasses and they luckily are doing well there.
The Zebra has grown the most of them all. I hope that it blooms this year.

It is a beautiful grass to have around the garden. We've had some wonderful displays over the years but unfortunately our northern climate results in considerable winterkill.Your Georgia climate should be great for this grass.
